SUMMARY
Many communities in Sierra Leone, particularly in rural areas where 60–70% of child labor is prevalent, lack adequate school facilities. Even when schools exist, they are often too far away, difficult to access or provide such low-quality education that parents question whether sending their children is is really worth it. Many children who attend school come from diverse and challenging economic circumstances, including orphans and families living in extreme poverty.

Every year, thousands of children especially in rural villages miss out on the basic facilities and privileges that education provides. Without intervention, they lose the chance to reach their full potential.
By supporting these children, we can give them the tools, opportunities and hope they need to build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
CHALLENGES
In Sierra Leone, thousands of pupils lack even the most basic school supplies. It is heartbreaking that something as simple as a pencil, notebook, or sharpener can stand between a child and the education they deserve. Without these essentials, children arrive at school unprepared, creating an unconducive learning environment and leaving them feeling anxious, discouraged or left behind.
This lack of resources not only hinders their education but also traps them in cycles of poverty, limiting their potential and opportunities for years to come.

SOLUTION
There are thousands of pupils in Sierra Leone who urgently need access to free school supplies. Many children attend school without the basic materials required to learn effectively and confidently.
We are committed to ensuring that every child has essential items such as school bags, notebooks, pens and pencils, erasers, sharpeners, crayons, umbrellas, raincoats, socks, black shoes, and all the tools they need to succeed in school so they can ultimately succeed in life.
